Meaningful engagement with Aboriginal communities requires time, trust and an understanding of the relationships, responsibilities and cultural protocols involved.

Mawambul supports organisations to plan and undertake engagement that respects Aboriginal voices, knowledge and decision-making processes. We work alongside organisations to create opportunities for genuine participation, ensuring community perspectives are heard, documented and considered throughout a project’s development.

Our approach recognises that engagement is not simply a step in a project, but an ongoing responsibility to build relationships and demonstrate how community input has informed decisions.
