This coastal session takes place at Swansea Heads, where ocean, story and responsibility meet.

Session focus & learning outcomes

By the end of this session, participants will:

  • Learn Traditional place names and their meanings
  • Understand how stories guide behaviour and responsibility
  • Explore coastal plants
  • Reflect on continuity and giving back to Country

Session inclusions

  • Guided coastal session
  • Catering featuring Indigenous-inspired foods as part of the Cultural Education experience. Sharing food provides an opportunity to pause, reflect, and continue conversations together. Please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.
  • Story-based learning and reflection activities
  • Mindfulness/being present/reflection activity (weather permitting)

Participants receive:

  • a Journey Marker unique to this place
  • a Certificate of Completion acknowledging learning at this location
