Living Country

It’s been an incredible first year for Mawambul. Full of learning, listening, creating, and connecting. We started with a simple yet powerful idea to work together in a way that’s led by Country, grounded in respect, and driven by culture. Mawambul means “together” in Wiradjuri language, and that word has guided us through every conversation, collaboration, and decision we’ve made.

In just 12 months, we’ve supported projects that range from strategy and governance to cultural design and community engagement. We’ve built relationships that we are incredibly proud of, and we have remained true in our commitment to put First Nations voices, knowledges and businesses at the centre of everything we do.

We’re only just getting started, and there’s still so much more to do, learn, and share. We’d love for you to keep walking alongside us as we grow, connect, and create what’s next, the “Mawambul” way.

Artwork: ‘Three Rivers, One Story’ by Gavin Kelly
(Approx. 1,000mm L x 750mm W)

All Proceeds go to Support Living Country

To celebrate our inaugural year together, Mawambul is proud to share a special artwork created by celebrated Aboriginal artist, Gavin Kelly.

Gavin, a proud Worimi man and visual storyteller, has created this piece reflecting the journey of Mawambul. It tells the story of our purpose - connecting people, place, and knowledge in a way that honours the past and shapes the future.

Gavin’s work features three rivers flowing together into one, symbolising the strength we find in coming together with unity and shared purpose.

Surrounding the rivers are paths, campsites, and layers of white, black and grey, representing ancient knowledge passed down through generations.

Animals still on Country reflect enduring connection to land, while people at the heart of the work remind us of our role in bringing that knowledge into the modern world—water and wisdom flowing across Country.

This artwork lives at the heart of Mawambul’s identity and is a visual story of who we are, where we’ve come from, and what we carry forward. This is more than a celebration of a milestone in business. It’s a reflection of what it means to build something with purpose—on Country, in community, and with culture at the core.
