Design

Design has an important role in recognising and responding to Country, culture and the relationships people hold with place.

Mawambul works alongside project teams to bring Aboriginal knowledge and cultural considerations into planning and design processes. From early project development through to design review, we support approaches that recognise the cultural significance of place and respond to the needs of communities.

Our work encourages design decisions that consider Country from the outset, rather than treating cultural considerations as an addition later in the process.
